A smart collections and recovery strategy entails the identification of the most effective actions for each account across different collection stages, including pre-delinquency, and implementing them seamlessly into the existing collections operation. Experian’s Portfolio Management Package is a unique collections strategy service, which takes the organisation’s customer accounts and combines data, software and analytics with embedded collections expertise and customised strategies to assess risk and collectability.

Centrally hosted secure data: Portfolio Management Service combines Experian’s market-leading Strategy Management tools with data, analytics, consulting and reporting in a single, packaged service hosted in Experian's secure data centre.

Best-practice collections strategies: Based on the customer’s financial information, these strategies are parameterised for each organisation for rapid deployment.

Continuous feedback: Embedded expertise is supported by consulting services in order to develop initial strategies followed by monthly reviews. Consulting reviews and ‘Champion/Challenger’ facilities are provided for continual evaluation and improvement of strategies. Specialised reports to measure and evaluate collections and financial performance include population stability, roll rates and scorecard reviews.
